Spanish Riding School

The Spanish Riding School is an equestrian institution based in Vienna, which originally served the equestrian training of the imperial family.

The Imperial-Royal Riding School is dedicated to the preservation of classical horsemanship and has usually been called the Spanish Riding School, presumably since the beginning of the 19th century. Since 2010, classical horsemanship and the High School of the Spanish Riding School have been part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage.
