The Hofburg, the main Hapsburg Palace in downtown Vienna covers an extensive inner city area and has many beautiful stone buildings including the palace with the Imperial Apartments of Sisi and Franz Joseph, the Silver Collection, a overwhelming exhibition of the royal porcelain, dinner service and silverware and the Spanish Riding School: the only institution in the world which has practiced for over 440 years and continues to cultivate classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the haute école.

Don't miss a visit to The Imperial Treasury with its impressive collection of the most important jewels of the Hapsburg history. The former court library is an architectural masterpiece of the Viennese baroque architect J. B. Fischer von Erlach and son.This, the largest baroque library in Europe, was erected in the first half of the eighteenth century as an independent wing of the Imperial Palace.
