Arrival by plane
There is a municipal railway station inside the airport. Linie S7 gets you to Bahnhof /WienMitte (Central Vienna) in 25 minutes (ticket costs € 4,40).
A faster way of getting into the city is by CAT (City Airport Train), which gets you to Bahnhof/Wien Mitte (Central Vienna) in 16 minutes (€ 10 to € 14 per person)
From Bahnhof /Wien Mitte take the underground. U4 one stop from there to Schwedenplatz (heading towards Heiligenstadt - „Richtung Heiligenstadt“) Take the exit Rotenturmstrasse turn left and then immediately right into Hafnersteig, your point of arrival.
Another possibility is to take the airport bus: in 20 minutes you will reach Morzinplatz next to Schwedenplatz underground station. (€ 8 to €10).
For your convenience, we can organize a pick up service from the airport on your request. The ride takes ca 30 minutes and costs € 40 to € 50 (up to 4 people).
Arrival by train
From Wien Westbahnhof (for national trains)
Take the underground line U3 (heading towards Simmering “Richtung Simmering") 5 stops to Stephansplatz. Then take the U1 in direction Leopoldau one stop to Schwedenplatz. Once here take the exit Rotenturmstrasse, turn left and then immediately right into Hafnersteig.
From Wien Hauptbahnhof (for international trains)
Take the underground line U1 in direction Leopoldau for 4 stops to Schwedenplatz. Once here take the exit Rotenturmstrasse, turn left and then immediately right into Hafnersteig.
Parking
We offer our hotel guests cut-price tickets for the underground car park at Georg-Cochplatz ("Tiefgarage Georg-Cochplatz") (5 minutes' walk from the hotel). You can drive straight into the garage on arrival and get a ticket from the machine at the gate. At our reception desk you then get a hotel parking ticket for € 34 per day (24 hrs.) which you pay for at reception. The whole city centre is chargeable short parking area Monday to Friday 9 a.m - 10 p.m.
